Somizi’s visit to Zim stopped

The South African born celebrity was set to visit Zimbabwe and participate in the re opening of the #GarweRestaurant. However Zimbabweans  have not been as en-thrilled by the idea of Somizi gracing the event. The restaurants owners were petitioned by a number of people the main one being from one dubbed Cde Venom.

Dear Garwe Restaurant
Your reopening is a good business opportunity for Zimbabwe but i doubt the guest is. Somizi (his sexuality aside) is embroiled in domestic violence and abuse cases and hence, in my view, should be taken with a pinch of salt. In a time the UN, AU and globe is fighting domestic violence, the invitation of one involved in it cannot be the best shot.
Its not new that people become undesirable eg, Harison Ford is undesirable in China for cultural reasons, Alec Baldwin is undesirable in the Philipinnes for sentimental reasons, Lady Gaga is undesirable in Indonesia for her outrageous outfits, Miley Cyrus is undesirable in the Dominican Republic for moral based reasons….the list is endless.
For Somizi, he is undesirable on SA TV programme SA Idols for allegations of abuse and we should make him desirable in Zimbabwe?Leader Tendai Chirau protect our youth and the future from agents of domestic violence and any immoralities!
Disruptive Opinion from Cde Venom
Organizers of the event are believed to have reconsidered the event are said to have reconsidered after the intervention of the clergy into this matter
