Interim Citizens Coalition for Change Vice President Professor Welshman Ncube and other CCC senior members have expressed their discontent with the way CCC leader Nelson Chamisa is running the party.
All this comes when Citizens Coalition for Change leader Nelson Chamisa had registered his outfit’s logo with the Zimbabwe Intellectual Property Trade Mark office (ZIPO) and with the Registrar of Deeds in Harare barring anyone form using his face, the words Citizens Coalition for Change and CCC elements combined.
Writing on twitter he said:
“Narcissistic personality disorder is a mental health disorder of extreme self centered meds and forever seeking attention and administration. Leaders with this disorder are capricious, selfish and have no empathy except as an instrument of attention seeking… “

In an interview, Welshman Ncube told off Chamisa for attempting to impose himself on the people by making the party his personal project something he said has created rifts in the party.
“We will not allow you to hijack the people’s project, because this entire thing lies with the sovereignty of people of Zimbabwe,” he said.
“Now the riddle has been solved. We have now realized how we lost the 2018 and 2023 elections to Mnangagwa. He (Chamisa) is the problem, how can the whole party’s symbol be someone’s face, we cannot allow that.” Welshman Ncube claimed.
“We were not consulted on this matter, we were not consulted on the selection of candidates and we were not consulted on everything. Nelson Chamisa is doing everything by himself and the result; we lost a free and fair election to Zanu Pf.
“Zimbabweans want to elect individuals who will take the country to the next level in terms of development. They are not interested in a person whose work will be to protect his own interests,” said Ncube.
